Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies and What Are They For?

Cookies are small text files placed on the User's device (computer, smartphone, tablet) by the Platform's server when visited. These files are read by the browser on subsequent visits, allowing the Platform to "remember" previous preferences, sessions, and User behaviors.

In addition to traditional cookies, PluriBrands may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and session identifiers, which are also covered by this Policy.

Cookies perform essential functions for the operation and improvement of the Platform and can be classified according to their nature, origin, and purpose, as described in the following sections.

2. Types of Cookies Used

2.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Category A – Exempt from Consent)
These cookies are essential for the operation of the Platform and for the provision of the service requested by the User. Without them, basic features such as authentication, the shopping cart, age verification, and the payment process would not function. They do not require User consent under the ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)).

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies present on the Platform are set by third-party partners who provide services to PluriBrands. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, independent of those of PluriBrands. For more information on third-party cookies, we recommend consulting their respective policies:

4. Cookie Management and Control

The User has the right to control their cookie experience through the following means:
  • Consent Banner: Upon accessing the Platform for the first time, a cookie consent management panel is presented, allowing the User to accept, refuse, or customize the authorized cookie categories. This preference is stored for a period of 12 months.
  • Preference Center: The User can change their cookie preferences at any time by accessing the "Manage Cookies" link available in the Platform's footer.
  • Browser Settings: Browsers allow the blocking or deletion of cookies. Instructions vary by browser: Chrome (chrome://settings/cookies), Firefox (about:preferences#privacy), Safari (Preferences > Privacy), Edge (Settings > Privacy).

Refusal of Category B, C, and D cookies does not compromise access to the Platform or the ability to make purchases; it may only result in a less personalized experience and lower relevance of the content and ads presented.

5. Personal Data and Cookies

Some cookies may process the User's personal data (such as the IP address) or be associated with user identifiers. This data processing is fully aligned with the PluriBrands Privacy Policy and the legal bases identified therein.

Data collected through cookies are stored for the periods indicated in Section 2 and in the Privacy Policy. The User may exercise their data subject rights regarding information collected via cookies by contacting privacidade@pluribrands.com.
